Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information through the extension. Your YouTube search queries, viewing preferences, and browsing activity are processed entirely on your device and are never sent to our servers. The only external API calls made are to YouTube's public APIs (for video metadata) and our Firebase function (for generating AI summaries from publicly available video transcripts).

Email Collection

If you choose to join our waitlist or subscribe to updates, we will collect your email address. This information is used solely for providing updates, release notifications, or related communication. Your email is never sold, shared, or used for unrelated marketing. You may opt out or request deletion at any time by contacting us at anon.ttechlogistics@gmail.com.

Local Storage & Caching

The extension caches YouTube search results temporarily in memory to provide a smooter performance and reduce unnecessary API calls. This cache is cleared when you close your browser and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. No persistent data about your searches or viewing habits is stored on your device or elsewhere.

Permissions

The extension requests only the minimal permissions required to function:

• YouTube Access – To display filtered search results, hide distracting elements, and provide focused viewing.
• Google APIs – To fetch video metadata (titles, descriptions, thumbnails) for search results.
• Firebase Cloud Functions – To generate AI summaries when video transcripts are publicly available.

The extension does not access your browsing history outside YouTube, does not track your activity, and does not transmit personal information. Search results are cached temporarily in your browser's memory for performance, but this data is never sent to external servers.

Data Security

We take appropriate measures to protect any limited information you choose to share (such as your email address) and we never sell them. No browsing data is collected or transmitted to any third party.
